My family has had an excellent experience at Kingdom (formerly, Max)! We have been greeted and made to feel part of the family. My son Nello (4yo) and daughter Giuliana (6yo) had the opportunity to experience Tae Kwon Do in an individual and group setting before we had to make any type of commitment. I sooo appreciated this option because while Giuliana dove right in and loves it, Nello needs a little more time before he’s ready yet and the personnel were so understanding and helpful in guiding us in that decision. Giuliana has now completed her group Class and even earned her first black stripe for breaking a board! I didn’t know my kid could do that! Thank you Maxma for everything! BLACK BELT STUDENTS
Kingdom Marital Arts is first class martial arts school for Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. The school's head Master, Master In-hun Baek, holds a 5th Dan Black Belt in Tea Kwon Do and a 4th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido. His teaching style is fun and interactive. He is a natural born teacher. He loves teaching kids and you can see that in the way his students respond to his teaching. The vast majority of the kids that obtain black belts continue with the program. The school is not only for kids but also teens, parents and other adults. Hapkido for adults is a wonderful martial art for getting back into shape, acquiring self-defense capabilities and general flexibility. When I started Hapkido with Master Baek 3 years ago I was 53 years old. Since then, I have lost 50 pounds and in the best shape of my life. I encourage young and old alike, to stop in and speak with Master Baek. The first step is always the hardest but I am confident you will be happy with Kingdom Martial Arts Lisle.
